I got this to speed up work on small electronics. I wanted to remove or install screws quickly, but also a clutch and variable speed so the tiny screws don't strip out.
This works great for my purposes. It also worked great to assemble a bunch of Ikea cabinets, so there is lots of torque if you need it. The gyro mechanism is surprisingly intuitive, with the speed proportional to how far you turn your wrist, you just need to make sure you seat the bit in the screw head at an angle that gives you enough room to turn your wrist.
