Really wanted to give this saw a 5, but for one...

I'll get the hick up out of the way, it's the blade cover/riving knife assembly. I installed it as per directions to a T, pin locked up tight, pulled up sharply to ensure it's snapped in checked for clearance around the blade it was close but more than 1/8 minimum that directions say. But when I test ran the thing I saw sparks, the assembly had rocked forward slightly. No biggy twas just a kiss but after several hours playing with all the different adjustments I can get it working. Most of the time. But a couple times cycling up and down and watching it rocks forward and touches the blade. So, I'll be like 90% of woodworkers and not use it I guess which was pretty much my plan but I wanted to try the secondary dust collection it when I saw it though, it looks good. I may grind the knife down a bit or something we'll see. The main dust collection downstairs is awesome, fully enclosed shroud around the blade with the hose attached there.
Other than that I really like this saw! It's built like a brick shat house (other than the blade cover), everything is robust I was impressed with everything putting it together. The fence is really good, super simple, sturdy and dependable. The rails are very sturdy as is the table and wings.
Also, and contrary to specs on line the riving knives will accept most thin kerf blades! Sweet. specs. say .010" on line which would have ruled out my favorite Diablo finishing blade but they've upgraded to .085 to accept most of today's think kerf blades. Oh, should have said after giving up on the blade cover assembly and just going with the smaller riving knife that's included, it works great it can not physically ever touch the blade being smaller and not extending over top of the blade at all.
It's a good saw I'd buy it again even with the hick up on mine.
