Well it took a while to arrive due to flooding in BC but was worth the wait. I was upgrading from an import 14” saw with 6” extension and considered several different saws. I needed something that would handle large rough cut timber to cut into turning blanks which my current saw struggled with and decided to spend a bit more and upgrade my shop for 240. I have yet to process raw timber but am very pleased with everything I have cut so far. After taking the time to set the saw up correctly I can now cut paper thin slices with precision. The brake alone is worth the upgrade from the 14/12 and I am sure the extra power will also be welcomed.
