  1. Good and Bad about the General International Wood Lathe 3 Star Review

Posted by on 2018 Jul 12th

I love my General International VS+ wood lathe. It works perfectly except for two things: 1. It stopped working completely; 2. The speed indicator quit working about a year after I bought it.
I was able to get it running again after re-soldering a wire broken off the pot that controls the speed. I looked but couldn't find why the speed indicator wouldn't work. For now, i crank it to the speed that seems to work the best. If anyone knows what the problem is please send me an e-mail. terrye404@gmail.com
