The DeWalt DCHT820B is a 20V MAX cordless hedge trimmer designed for light to medium-duty trimming of shrubs and hedges. It features a high-output motor paired with a 22-inch laser-cut, hooked-tooth blade, allowing fast, clean cuts through branches up to 3/4 inch thick.
Built with a compact and lightweight design (around 7.5–8.8 lbs), it offers good maneuverability and reduced user fatigue during extended use. The dual-action blade helps minimize vibration while improving cutting efficiency.
A friction clutch system protects the transmission if the blades bind on thicker material, improving durability. The tool is part of DeWalt’s 20V MAX battery platform, making it compatible with a wide range of DeWalt batteries (battery and charger sold separately).
