High leverage cutting edges for cutting soft, hard and piano wire. High cutting capacity with minimal effort due to optimum coordination of cutting edge angle and transmission ratio. Cutting edge hardness (approx. 64 HRC). Cutting capacity - up to 5/32" for soft, 1/8" for medium, up to 5/64" for hard and up to 1/16" for piano wire. Chrome plated for better chemical resistance. Chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel; forged, multi stage oil-hardened.
