The King Canada KC-6HJC - 6 Benchtop jointer with helical cutterhead is a replacement for a Very, Very old machine; so almost anything would be a significant improvement. This machine is EXACTLY what I need right now. It is NOT for large (Wide and Long) pieces. Since I never have those, this is perfect.
One suggestion: Setting up the machine (out of the box) was not self-evident for me. However, YouTube came to the rescue. I suggest that King Canada make a video the link for which you include with the shipment. I did find a good site, after several minutes of frustration.
Machine is excellent for my needs.
