The Metabo HPT NR1865DKAQRY 18V Cordless Pneumatic 2-1/2" Metal Connector Nailer combines cordless mobility with the speed and driving performance of a pneumatic nailer. The Air Spring Drive+ system delivers up to 120 J of driving energy and drives up to 3 nails per second without a compressor, hose or gas cartridge.
Designed for metal connector fastening, the nailer accepts 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" nails from .131" to .148" in diameter. A probe-style nose tip assists with accurate nail placement, while tool-less depth adjustment provides additional control. The 33-nail magazine and sequential firing mode are suited to precise fastening of structural connectors.
The included 18V/36V MultiVolt 10Ah/5.0Ah T-PWR Tabless battery provides up to 1,170 nails per charge. The tool weighs 7.5 lb. without the battery and features a balanced design intended to provide a familiar pneumatic feel while eliminating the setup and movement restrictions associated with compressors and air hoses.
The NR1865DKAQRY is designed for on-site maintenance to help minimize downtime and includes an LED work light, dry-fire lockout, belt hook and rafter hook. Its interchangeable magazine system also allows the nailer to be configured for additional fastening applications with separately available magazines.
