The Prazi PR-7000 Beam Cutter Attachment converts compatible 7-1/4" and 8-1/4" worm drive circular saws into powerful beam-cutting tools capable of making cuts up to 12" deep. Designed for left-blade worm drive saws, the PR-7000 extends the cutting capacity of a standard circular saw from approximately 2-1/2" to 12", allowing contractors, timber framers, and woodworkers to tackle large timbers and structural lumber without the need for specialized beam saws.
Ideal for timber framing, post and beam construction, log home building, pergolas, pavilions, stair construction, and other heavy-duty woodworking applications, the PR-7000 delivers the accuracy and control of a circular saw while providing the cutting depth typically associated with larger cutting systems. The attachment is capable of making cuts up to 8" deep at 45°, making it suitable for rafter cuts, miters, compound angles, notching, ripping, stair stringers, and other demanding structural cuts.
The PR-7000 installs quickly on many popular worm drive circular saws from brands such as Skil, Bosch, Makita, DeWalt, and Craftsman. Installation requires no permanent modifications and can be completed in approximately one minute. By allowing large cuts to be completed in a single pass, the beam cutter improves efficiency, increases accuracy, and reduces time spent making multiple cuts from different directions.
